Purchased at the Prague Jubilee Exhibition of 1891.

 

Based on a design by Josef Malina, the headmaster of the Technical School for Gem Setting and Cutting in Turnov, with engravings by master teacher Karel Zapp and goldsmithing by student Jaroslav Fröhlich. The goblet epitomised the work of the Turnov school at the Prague Jubilee Exhibition of 1891.
